Facility Description: Greentown Labs Companies working on prototypes have access to an extensive community machine shop located on our prototyping floor. Tools include: a lathe, drill press, vertical band saw, mill, table saw, grinding wheel, belt sander, miter saw, and more. Training and certification (provided on-site) is required to access the equipment.

Special Equipment/Services: The MassCEC Machine Shop at Greentown Labs includes a variety of equipment including: HAAS CNC, CNC Lathe, CNC, Lagun Mill, Horizontal Bandsaw, Epilog M2 Fusion Series Laser Cutter, Dayton Belt Sander, Dake Arbor Press, Jet Vertical Sandblaster, Vacuume Thermoformer and a MarkForged 3D Printer.
The prototyping lab also includes an Electronics Lab donated by Keysight Technologies, a sponsor of Greentown Labs. Member companies have access to free, donated software from Autodesk, Solidworks, Altium and MathWorks.
Availability: Open during normal business hours, 9:30a-5:30p, Monday-Friday. Member companies have 24/7 access.
